My 30's approached me and after giving birth to two princesses I really felt that I needed to start upping my daily beauty regimen. I was never troubled with acne or any other skin aggravations, but after giving birth and then going on the IUD Mirena, I started to notice discoloration marks on my face (The vain side of me kicked in)
After a bout of trying every cream and peel, my dermatologist told me that it was due to the small amount of hormone found in this IUD (this IUD wasn't going anywhere, as I'm very happy to not bleed everyone month and not get pregnant; a side effect to Mirena) that was causing this hyper-pigmentation. So I started to get in tune with what my skin and body really needed. No more non sunscreen days and a whole lot more of Elemis and Bliss facials combined with an incredible product that I take daily. (found here at Dermstore)
Here's a peak at the products I can't stop using and I'm actually seeing noticeable results.
Part of my daily routine consists of taking this skin brightening nutrient. I read a great article about how a lot of our skin problems come from imbalances inside our bodies that cannot be remedied just through the food we eat. I eat a well balanced, low unprocessed sugar diet, but what could it be missing? I thought I would give this product a go. Found only at Dermstore, GliSODin skin nutrients, specifically the Advanced Skin Brigthening Formula has been a game changer. After about 3 weeks of taking them daily (down-side, its 3 pills) I started to notice a dramatic difference in my skin's glow, a decrease in those stubborn dark spots and discoloration, and people were complimenting me on how clear my skin was looking.
In addition to this amazing nutrient, my day and night regimens have become common place and even relaxing. There is nothing like the feeling of clean, hydrated, youthful skin after leaving your facialist. However, I have learned that beyond my monthly appointment I need to do some at home TLC.
Here are some of my favorites from Bliss' new launch found at Target. I was sent an amazing influencer box filled with all of their new items and gave them a go.
Aside from the packaging being adorable and the names grabbing your attention their products smell and feel incredible. The Bliss products are gentle enough for everyday use and when incorporated into my daily routine, the results are fantastic. I am not a beauty expert, but I have tried my share of both expensive and inexpensive regimens and I feel like I have found something that really works. As a woman, aging is a terrifying reality, but one that we need to work with.
Until there is a magic pill, I have found what I feel really works.
*I would really love some feedback if anyone else has tried the GliSODin nutrients and wether they have found success or not
